Dr Yoriko Otomo is a Lecturer in Law at SOAS, and received her doctorate from the University of Melbourne. She was previously a lecturer at Keele University, and has taught at Birkbeck (University of London), the International Center for Legal Studies and the University of Melbourne. She has also worked at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment (London School of Economics), and Bleyer Lawyers (Australia).
Yoriko's main areas of research interest are international law and legal theory, animal law, and environmental law.
