Gunhild Waldemar is Director of The Danish Dementia Research Centre, in Copenhagen, and Professor of Clinical Neurology, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Her research interests are clinical and epidemiological research and intervention studies in Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. Alistair Burns is Professor of Old Age Psychiatry, at the niversity of Manchester, UK, and Honorary Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry, at Manchester Mental Health and Social Care Trust (MMHSCT), UK. His research and clinical interests are in mental health problems of older people, particularly dementia and Alzheimer's disease. He has published over 300 papers and 25 books.
