Dr. Zuzana Ješková, Ph.D., is an associate professor at the Department of Physics Education, Institute of Physics, Faculty of Sciences, Pavol Jozef Safarik University in Kosice, Slovakia. Her main research interest is in the field of inquiry-based science education (IBSE) and inquiry skills development and the role of interactive methods enhanced by digital technologies also involving distance education at the upper secondary school level as well as at the University level. Her activities are also focusing on in-service teacher education in the field of designing and conducting teacher training programs aimed at IBSE enhanced by digital technologies.
Dr. Jozef Hanc, Ph.D., is an associate professor at the Department of Physics Education, Institute of Physics, Faculty of Sciences, Pavol Jozef Safarik University in Kosice, Slovakia. His research within physics and STEM education focuses on two closely intertwined domains. The first encompasses the methodology and application of modern interactive methods and digital technologies, particularly blended and flipped learning. The second domain involves applying data science and artificial intelligence tools and methods to enhance the effectiveness of education. In this area, he possesses extensive experience in applying advanced statistical and numerical methods using open data science and AI tools, such as Jupyter, R, Python, or AI large language models.
