Nan Jiang is a professor, a doctoral supervisor, and a vice dean of the Shanghai International College of Intellectual Property of Tongji University. She obtained her doctorate in management science and engineering from Tongji University’s School of Economics and Management in 2009 and has been teaching there since then. She is a Young Scholar of Shanghai Oriental Talents. She also serves as a member of the China Intellectual Property Research Society, deputy director of the National Intellectual Property Strategy Implementation Research Base, member of the Intellectual Property Law Research Society of the China Law Society, an adjunct researcher at the Intellectual Property Research Center of Fudan University, and a member of the Secretariat of the National Education Steering Committee for Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property. She has presided more than 10 national, provincial and ministerial projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, won the Huaxia Medical Science and Technology Award (National level), the National Outstanding Research Report on Intellectual Property Rights (Patent) and Outstanding Soft Science Research Achievement Award, etc. She has published more than 60 CSSCI/SSCI papers in journals such as “China Soft Science”, “Studies in Science of Science”, “Science Research Management”, “Science and Public Policy” and so on. She has published one individual monograph and three co-authored books. She has submitted more than 30 special reports on intellectual property decision-making to government departments at all levels, and more than 20 of them have been approved by vice-ministerial leaders and adopted by the Ministry of Education, the Central Office of National Security and the China National Intellectual Property Administration.
