Ferry Roelofs is account manager research at NRG in the Netherlands. He is known as an expert in nuclear thermal hydraulics (specifically Computational Fluid Dynamics) and as such performed simulations on various generations of nuclear reactors (Generation II, III and IV). He has been working in the nuclear field since 1997. Apart from being active in the thermal hydraulics field, he has also been seconded at the Dutch nuclear power plant of Borssele assisting the update of safety specifications
