Jane Kotzmann is Associate Professor at the School of Law, Deakin University. She has recently published collections entitled 'The Legal Recognition of Animal Sentience' (2024, with Marcelo Rodriguez Ferrere) and 'Animal Law in Australasia' (2025, with Joanna Kyriakakis). She has published articles in leading journals including the Oxford Journal of Legal Studies, Sydney Law Review, and Columbia Journal of Environmental Law.
