Dr. Jie Zhao obtained her MSc in Mechatronics and Automation Engineering and PhD in micro-manufacturing of tubular micro-components, both from the University of Strathclyde. She currently serves as a Research Manager in the Department of Design, Manufacturing, and Engineering Management. Since 2007, she has worked as a researcher and project manager at the Centre for Precision Manufacturing and the Advanced Forming Research Centre, contributing to over 10 large scale R&D and commercial projects.
