Kohji Mitsubayashi received his B.S. (1983) and M.S. (1985) from Toyohashi University of Technology, and Ph.D. from The University of Tokyo in 1994. He was an associate Professor at Tokai University. He joined Tokyo Medical and Dental University in 2003. His research interests include wearable and cavitas biosensors, gas-phase biosensors (Bio-sniffers, Sniff-cam) for non-invasive bio-monitoring, and novel artificial organs (pancreas, muscles) with “Organic Engine (chemo-mechanical bio-converter).? He has published more than 210 research articles in international journals.
