Dr. Laura Daniel, PhD, was the Associate Director and Program Manager of the NIH BEST Consortium. She facilitied the interactions between all 17 BEST sites by leading monthly teleconferences, organizing annual meetings, and maintaining the website and blog. Dr. Daniel is now a Staff Scientist in the Department of Rheumatology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she is a productive member of Cecilia Chung's lab. Her research focus is in the area of pharmacoepidemiology.
