Mostafa Fahmi Hassanein has completed his PhD at the age of 31 years from Tanta University, Egypt. Within his PhD study, he has participated in a doctoral steel course at Lulea University of technology, Sweden. He is currently "Professor of Structural Engineering" at the Department of Structural Engineering at Tanta University. His research focuses on the analysis and design of steel and composite structures, with the aim of improving the Design Codes and Standards that are currently used
