After holding various research positions at Brazil, Czech Republic and Australia, she joined University of Orleans, France, as a Senior Researcher. Her research work is focused on enhanced and sustainable production of bioactive compounds from plants using different biotechnological approaches. She publishes regularly in peer-reviewed journals, and has served as a journals special issue and book editor on topics
